Pessary Fittings

Pessary fittings that let you stand, lift, and move without the bulge or the leak.

Whether you are dealing with a heavy, dragging feeling, a bulge you can feel or see, or leaking when you move, a properly fitted pessary can give you support without surgery. If it matters to you, we will make it our top priority.

What is a pessary?

A pessary is a soft, flexible silicone device that sits inside the vagina and supports the pelvic organs. It is a non-surgical, reversible option for pelvic organ prolapse and certain types of leaking.

There is no single pessary that works for everyone. A fitting is how we find the right shape and size for your body, your symptoms, and your daily life. We take the time to get it right, then teach you how to live with it comfortably.

A word from a patient:

“One of the best experiences I have had in a providers office. My therapist is such a great listener-allowing you to discuss personal issues in a very safe and judgement free space. She is super detail oriented, knowledgeable, and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. She makes therapy fun! The entire office space is warm and inviting- feeling more like your home than a doctors office”

Your time matters.

Fitting a pessary is not a five minute appointment. Finding the right device takes a little trial and error, and rushing it is how people end up uncomfortable.

Our fitting visits are unhurried and one-on-one, so we can size you properly, make sure you can move and empty comfortably, and teach you everything you need to know before you leave.

Who a pessary can help:

We help women in Bucks County manage prolapse and leaking without jumping straight to surgery.

A pessary may be a good fit if you have:

  • A feeling of pressure, heaviness, or dragging in the pelvis

  • A bulge you can feel or see at the vaginal opening

  • Symptoms that get worse by the end of the day or with activity

  • Leaking with coughing, sneezing, or exercise

  • Prolapse during pregnancy or after having a baby

  • A desire to delay or avoid surgery

  • Symptoms that limit lifting, running, or standing
