Some of our successes!

No more leaking while exercising.
Ms. A was seen by Dr. Jenn due to reports of urine leakage with increased activity. Namely jumping jacks, running and higher impact exercise. Ms. A had been to pelvic floor physical therapy at another facility and was instructed to "do Kegels". Ms. A reported that she did the Kegels that were recommended, however had no change in her symptoms. While on assessment Dr. Jenn did find some pelvic floor weakness, and also found significant hip mobility restrictions and postural imbalances that she felt were causing Ms. A's symptoms. Within 1 visit, Ms. A noticed a significant improvement in how much she was leaking. After  5 visits, Ms. A is now able to jump, perform jumping jacks and run 3 miles, without urine leakage.

Got rid of brutal tailbone pain.
Ms. F came to Dr. Jenn with reports of tailbone pain, worse with sitting. After a through assessment, Dr. Jenn found significant hip stiffness and instability and treated Ms. F with a variety of manual techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue release and neuromuscular training aimed at gaining hip mobility and strength. Dr. Jenn discussed lifestyle modifications such as sitting posture. Within 6 session, Ms. F's pain was completely resolved and she was able to sit for long car rides. Ms. F was able to transition to a pilates program to continue to strengthen her hips.

Discovered an effective way to manage her chronic pain.
Ms. S came to Dr. Jenn after surgery to excise endometriosis. Ms. S was reporting lower back pain, lower abdominal bloating and painful periods. Dr. Jenn reviewed bowel, bladder and food habits as well as addressed some tightness within Ms. S's pelvic floor, hips and lower back. Dr. Jenn also emphasized the importance of deep breathing and stress reduction strategies in order to decrease pelvic floor tightness. Within 8 sessions, Ms. S reported she has felt the best she had in years.

Was able to have a pain-free pregnancy.
Ms. M presented to Dr. Jenn in her second trimester of pregnancy with reports of significant sharp, groin pain. Through assessment, Dr. Jenn felt that Ms. M's symptoms were due to pubic symphysis dysfunction. Ms. M was given exercises to help increase stability through her hip girdle and pelvis. Dr. Jenn also discussed movement strategies in order to allow Ms. M to lift, get into and out of the car, and walk without pain. Ms. M's pain resolved in 2 visits and she was able to have a pain-free rest of her pregnancy.

Got rid of back pain, for good.
Ms. N was seen via teleconference (due to COVID) by Dr. Jenn with reports of lower back and pelvic pain after standing for a long shift at work. Ms. N was in agony and reported that her pain was significantly limiting her ability to work and play with her children. After a thorough movement analysis conducted via teleconference, Dr. Jenn discussed postures and stretches that Ms. N could do both during her days off, and while working. Within 2 teleconference consultations, Ms. N reported her pain was completely resolved.
